Post Daily respects your right to control your data. This page explains what data we store, how to request its deletion, and what happens when you do.
1 What Data We Store
When you use Post Daily, we store the following categories of data associated with your account:
- Account information - Your name, email address, company name, and hashed password
- Product knowledge base - Website content and product information crawled from your URLs
- Content calendar - Your planned content strategy and scheduling data
- Marketing posts - All generated and edited marketing copy, including headlines, body text, and hashtags
- Media files - AI-generated images and videos created for your posts
- API keys and tokens - Encrypted credentials for third-party services you have connected
- Publishing history - Records of content published to social media platforms
- Usage analytics - Feature usage, agent run logs, and audit trail entries
- Billing information - Subscription plan and payment history (payment card details are stored by Stripe, not by us)
2 How to Request Data Deletion
You can request deletion of all your data through either of these methods:
Option A: In-App Request
- Log in to your Post Daily dashboard
- Navigate to Account Settings
- Use the Data Export feature to download a copy of your data (recommended)
- Click "Request Account Deletion" to submit your request
- You will receive an email confirmation that your request has been received
Option B: Email Request
- Send an email to support@marketingcommandcenter.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request"
- Include the email address associated with your account
- We will verify your identity and confirm receipt within 5 business days
We recommend exporting your data before requesting deletion. Once data is permanently deleted, it cannot be recovered.
3 Deletion Timeline
Once we receive and verify your data deletion request:
Within 24 hours
Your account is deactivated and you will no longer be able to log in. Any active subscriptions are cancelled. Content publishing is stopped immediately.
Within 30 days
All personal data, content, media files, and associated records are permanently deleted from our active systems and databases.
Within 90 days
Data is purged from encrypted backup systems. After this point, no recoverable copy of your data exists in our infrastructure.
4 What Gets Deleted vs. Retained
Permanently Deleted
- Account profile and credentials
- Product knowledge base entries
- Content calendar and strategy data
- All marketing posts and drafts
- Generated images and videos
- API keys and OAuth tokens
- Publishing history and metrics
- Usage analytics and agent run logs
- Email notification preferences
Retained (as required by law)
- Billing transaction records (retained for tax/legal compliance, up to 7 years)
- Anonymized, aggregated usage statistics (not linked to your identity)
- Security audit logs related to account access (retained up to 12 months)
Retained records contain only the minimum information required by applicable laws and regulations. They cannot be used to identify you or reconstruct your account.
5 Third-Party Data
Deleting your data from Post Daily does not automatically delete data from third-party services. Specifically:
- Social media platforms - Content already published to Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, or TikTok remains on those platforms. You must delete it directly through each platform.
- Buffer - Scheduled posts in Buffer are not automatically removed. Log in to Buffer to manage your queued content.
- Stripe - Payment history is retained by Stripe under their data retention policies. Contact Stripe directly for payment data deletion.
We will revoke any active OAuth tokens and API connections during the deletion process to disconnect your accounts.
6 Facebook / Meta Data Deletion Callback
In compliance with Facebook/Meta Platform Terms, we support the data deletion callback URL requirement. When a user removes the Post Daily app from their Facebook account:
- We receive a deletion request callback from Facebook
- All Facebook-related tokens and data associated with that user are queued for deletion
- The deletion is processed within 30 days
- A confirmation code is provided that can be used to check the status of the deletion request
If you have removed our app from Facebook and want to verify the status of your data deletion, contact us at support@marketingcommandcenter.com with your confirmation code.
